New River facts for kids
The New River is a north-flowing river that flows from Mexico into southern California. The New River flows north 15 miles (25 km) through Mexico and another 66 miles (100 km) through California into the Salton Sea, the largest lake in California. It is one of the most polluted rivers in the United States.
