These include the North Sylamore Creek, and its middle fork, which is called "The Roasting Ear Creek." There's also the South Fork of the Sylamore Creek, which is on private land.
East of the old community, you can find a natural spring. It flows right out of a hill by the side of the road. This spring is about a mile east of the tire shop. Its water joins with Panther Creek and then flows into The Roasting Ear Creek. This whole area truly shows what the Ozark region is all about.
