This lovely bay stretches about 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) wide. Imagine a line from Towan Head on the west side to Trevelgue Head on the east. That's how wide Newquay Bay is! Just beyond Trevelgue Head, you'll find another famous spot called Watergate Bay.
Beaches in the Bay
Newquay Bay is home to some well-known beaches. These include the sandy shores of Lusty Glaze beach. You can also find Porth beach within the bay's boundaries. Both are great places to enjoy the Cornish coast.
