Niko Hurme (born 10 November 1974) is a musician from Finland. He is best known by his stage names Nick Gore and Kalma. He plays the bass guitar and also sings.
Niko Hurme was the bass player for the famous Finnish hard rock band Lordi. He was part of the band from 2002 to 2005. His stage name in Lordi was Kalma, which is a Finnish word meaning "death." Fans also know him as a "motorbike zombie" because of his scary stage costume.

His Time with Lordi
Kalma played bass on two of Lordi's albums: The Monsterican Dream (2004) and The Arockalypse (2006). He also sang some backing vocals on The Arockalypse.
Even though he played on The Arockalypse, Kalma left the band before it was released. So, the album cover shows the new bass player, OX, instead of him. It's a bit confusing because Kalma appears on the cover of Lordi's first album, Get Heavy, but he didn't actually play on that one! The bass on Get Heavy was played by the previous bassist, Magnum.
Kalma helped write one song for Lordi called 'Kalmageddon'. He wrote it with Mr. Lordi, the band's leader. This song is the last track on The Monsterican Dream album.
After Lordi
After leaving Lordi, Kalma made a few surprise guest appearances. In 2006, he joined Lordi on stage during their concerts in Nosturi and The Forum. He played rhythm guitar for a few songs.
Later, Kalma teamed up with Lordi's former drummer, Sampsa Astala. They formed a new band called Stala & So. In 2011, their band competed to represent Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest.
