History of Nielsburg
Nielsburg used to be known by slightly different names, like Nielsburgh and Niellsburgh. It became known as Nielsburg to honor its very first postmaster, a person named Arthur C. Neill.
A post office was open in Nielsburgh for several years, from 1855 to 1866. This was an important place for people to send and receive mail during that time.
