Nikki DeLoach (born September 9, 1979) is an American actress. She is well-known for playing Lacey Hamilton in the TV show Awkward (2011–2016). She also played MJ in North Shore (2004–2005) and Brenda in Days of Our Lives (2007–2009).

Early life and childhood

Nikki DeLoach was born in Waycross, Georgia, in the United States. She is the oldest of three children. Her mom, Terri, was a school superintendent, and her dad, David, owned a wood company. Nikki grew up on a farm with her sister LeAnne and brother Brett.

When she was a child, Nikki was very active in beauty pageants. She won many state and national titles. She also started modeling at a young age, getting jobs for print ads. One summer, she and her mom even went to New York City for modeling work. From 1991 to 1994, Nikki was part of a performing arts group called Clovers & Company through Georgia 4-H.

Career highlights

Nikki DeLoach joined The All New Mickey Mouse Club in 1993. This was a popular TV show where many future stars got their start. Some of her castmates included famous actors like Keri Russell and Ryan Gosling. Future pop stars like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Justin Timberlake were also on the show.

After The All New Mickey Mouse Club ended in 1995, Nikki went back to high school for a short time. Soon after, she moved to Los Angeles with her grandmother to become an actress. She appeared in TV shows like Misery Loves Company and movies such as Gunfighter's Moon.

In 1998, Nikki joined a girl group called Innosense. Justin Timberlake's mother, Lynn Harless, managed the group. Innosense got to open concerts for big stars like *NSYNC and Britney Spears. They had some success in Europe, but not as much in the US. The group even had a small role in the movie Longshot before they broke up in 2003.

Focusing on acting

After Innosense, Nikki focused on her acting career. She appeared in the movie The Net 2.0, which was a sequel to the thriller The Net. She also starred in TV series like North Shore on Fox and Windfall.

Nikki also made guest appearances on many popular TV shows. These include Grounded for Life, Walker: Texas Ranger, Cold Case, and CSI: NY. One of her most famous roles was playing Lacey Hamilton on MTV's show Awkward. Lacey was the mother of the main character, Jenna Hamilton.

She has also acted in French films, like the comedy Hollywoo. Nikki has also been a guest host on The Young Turks livestream. In recent years, she has starred in many films for the Hallmark Channel.

Family life

Nikki DeLoach married Ryan Goodell in September 2009. Ryan was also a member of a boy band called Take 5.

In April 2013, Nikki shared that she was expecting a baby. Their first son, William Hudson Goodell, was born on October 22, 2013. Their second son, Bennett Christopher Goodell, was born on September 20, 2017.
