99 Oaks was a historic place in the Santa Clarita Valley in Los Angeles County, California. It was mainly a rest stop for travelers. This spot was located between Castaic and Castaic Junction. It was a quiet, remote area along what was then called Old Highway 99.

99 Oaks was a popular stop for people traveling through the area. It offered a place to rest and get supplies. In 1936, Otis and Macy Andrews opened the 99 Oaks Café there. This cafe became a well-known spot for travelers.

Businesses at 99 Oaks

By around 1950, 99 Oaks had more than just the cafe. It also had a service station where people could get gas and car repairs. The name "99 Oaks" became quite famous. Other businesses nearby started using the name too.
