Nivaldo began playing football professionally in 1995. His first club was Paraná, where he played until 1996. After that, he joined Malutrom and played there for several years, from 1997 to 2002.
Later, Nivaldo played for other Brazilian teams. These included Aparecidense in 2004, Sampaio Corrêa in 2005, and Atlético Goianiense, also in 2005.
Playing in Japan
