Nobuhiro Ishizaki (石﨑 信弘, Ishizaki Nobuhiro, born March 14, 1958) is a famous Japanese football player who later became a manager. He was born on March 14, 1958. He currently manages the team Vanraure Hachinohe.
Playing Career
Nobuhiro Ishizaki was born in Hiroshima, Japan. He loved football from a young age. After finishing university at Tokyo University of Agriculture, he joined the Toshiba football team in 1980. He played as a defender for Toshiba for many years, until 1993.
Becoming a Manager
After he stopped playing football, Ishizaki decided to become a coach. He started his coaching journey in 1995 with NEC Yamagata, which later became Montedio Yamagata.
Managing J.League Teams
Ishizaki has managed many different teams in the J.League, which is Japan's professional football league.
- From 1999 to 2001, he managed Oita Trinita.
- Then, he moved to Kawasaki Frontale, managing them from 2001 to 2003.
- In 2004, he was the manager for Shimizu S-Pulse.
- In 2005, he managed Tokyo Verdy.
- He then led Kashiwa Reysol from 2006 to 2008.
- From 2009 to 2012, he returned to a team he knew well, Consadole Sapporo.
- He managed Montedio Yamagata again from 2014 to 2016.
Later Managerial Roles
In 2017, Ishizaki took on a new challenge. He signed with Regional Leagues club Tegevajaro Miyazaki. He stayed there until June 2018.
In July 2018, he joined J3 League club Fujieda MYFC. He managed this team until 2020.
In 2021, Ishizaki became the manager of another J3 club, Kataller Toyama. He left this club in 2022. On November 27, 2022, Ishizaki became the manager of Vanraure Hachinohe, replacing Ryo Shigaki. He continues to manage this team today.
