Nobuhiro Kato (加藤 順大, Katō Nobuhiro, born 11 December 1984) is a Japanese former professional footballer. He played as a goalkeeper. He was born in Ageo, Japan.

Football Journey
Nobuhiro Kato started his professional football career in 2003. He joined the J1 League club Urawa Reds. This was the same club where he played in their youth team.
Time at Urawa Reds
Even though Urawa Reds won many big titles, like the J1 League in 2006 and the 2007 AFC Champions League in 2007, Kato didn't play much at first. He was a backup goalkeeper behind other talented players until 2010.
In 2011, he became the main goalkeeper for Urawa Reds. During this time, the team did very well in the J.League Cup. They finished in second place in both 2011 and 2013. However, in 2014, he lost his starting spot to another goalkeeper.
Moving to Omiya Ardija
In 2015, Nobuhiro Kato moved to Omiya Ardija. This team was a rival to Urawa Reds, also located in Saitama. At that time, Omiya Ardija was in the J2 League, which is the second division of Japanese football.
He became the main goalkeeper for Omiya Ardija. Thanks to his good play, the team was promoted back to the J1 League at the end of the 2015 season. From 2016, he shared his playing time with another goalkeeper. However, in 2017, Omiya Ardija finished last in the J1 League and went back down to J2. In 2018, he didn't play any matches.
Final Club: Kyoto Sanga FC
In 2019, Kato joined Kyoto Sanga FC, another team in the J2 League. He played 15 matches for them in 2019. He didn't play any matches in 2020, which was his last year as a professional footballer.
