Nobutaka Tanaka (田中 信孝, Tanaka Nobutaka, born June 10, 1971) is a former Japanese football player and manager. He played as a defender during his career.

Nobutaka Tanaka's Football Journey
Nobutaka Tanaka was born in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, on June 10, 1971. He grew up loving football and worked hard to become a professional player.
Playing Days: From College to Pro Teams
After finishing his studies at Tokyo University of Agriculture, Tanaka joined the professional football club Kashiwa Reysol in 1994. In 1995, he played in many games as a defensive midfielder. He often played alongside another player named Takahiro Shimotaira.
However, in 1996, he did not play any matches for Kashiwa Reysol. Later that year, he moved to another team called Brummel Sendai, which was part of the Japan Football League. He continued to play for Brummel Sendai until the end of the 1997 season, when he decided to retire from playing football.
Coaching Career: Leading Teams on the Field
After his playing career ended, Nobutaka Tanaka decided to become a football manager. In 2005, he took on the role of manager for Sagawa Express Tokyo. He led this club for two seasons.
In 2007, Sagawa Express Tokyo merged with another team, Sagawa Express Osaka, to form a new club called Sagawa Shiga. Tanaka then became a coach for this new team. In 2008, he was promoted to manager of Sagawa Shiga. However, the team's results were not as good as hoped, and he left the manager position in October of that year.
