Noh Jung-yoon (born March 28, 1971) is a former professional footballer from South Korea. He played as a Midfielder and spent most of his career in the J1 League in Japan. He also played for a short time in the Dutch League.

Noh Jung-yoon made history as the first Korean player to join the J1 League. This happened when he moved to Japan in 1992, right when the league was starting. He played for several well-known clubs during his career.

Club Career Highlights

Noh Jung-yoon started his professional career in Japan with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 1993. He played there for five seasons, becoming a key player. He scored 36 goals in 138 league games for the club.

In 1998, he moved to Europe to play for NAC Breda in the Eredivisie, the top football league in the Netherlands. He played 25 games there.

After his time in the Netherlands, Noh Jung-yoon returned to Japan. He joined Cerezo Osaka in 1999 and later played for Avispa Fukuoka. He continued to show his skills as a midfielder in the J1 League.

Later in his career, Noh Jung-yoon returned to South Korea. He played for Busan I'cons (now Busan IPark) from 2003 to 2004. He then finished his playing career with Ulsan Hyundai from 2005 to 2006. Overall, he played 351 club games and scored 52 goals.

International Career

Noh Jung-yoon was also an important player for the South Korea national football team. He represented his country in various international competitions.

He played for the South Korea national team from 1990 to 2000. During this time, he earned 45 caps, which means he played in 45 international matches for his country. He scored 5 goals for the national team.

Noh Jung-yoon also played for South Korea in major tournaments. He was part of the squad for the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 1998 FIFA World Cup. He also represented South Korea at the 1990 Asian Games, where his team won a bronze medal. He also participated in the 2000 AFC Asian Cup.
