Nonchalant's most famous song is "5 O'Clock." This song was very popular in the United States. It reached number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song sold over 500,000 copies, earning a "gold" award from the RIAA. This means a lot of people bought and loved the song! In the UK, "5 O'Clock" reached number 44 in June 1996.
Her first album, Until the Day, was released on March 26, 1996. Even though music critics liked the album, it did not become as big a hit as her single. The album reached number 94 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
After her album, Nonchalant appeared on a song called "Keep on Pushin'." She sang with other rappers like MC Lyte and Yo-Yo. In 1998, she released another song, "Take It There."
