Nora Istrefi's Music Journey
Early Life and First Steps
Nora Istrefi was born in Pristina, a city in what is now Kosovo. Her parents are Nezir Istrefi and Suzana Tahirsylaj. Nora comes from a musical family. Her mother, Suzana Tahirsylaj, was also a well-known singer in the 1980s and 1990s. Nora began her professional singing career when she was 18 years old.
Rising to Fame
In 2005, Nora released her very first album. It was called Engjëll, which means "Angel". One of the songs from this album, "Taxi", became very popular. This song helped Nora gain many fans.
Over the next few years, Nora continued to release new music. She put out three more albums. These included Another World in 2008 and her self-titled album Nora in 2009. After 2009, she released many hit songs. Some of these popular tracks are "Le Mama" (with Gena), "Big Love", and "Ski me ikë".
Family Life
Nora Istrefi has a younger sister named Era Istrefi. Era is also a very successful singer. Nora was married to Robert Berisha. They have a daughter named Renè.
