Norihiro Yamagishi (山岸 範宏, Yamagishi Norihiro, born 17 May 1978) is a Japanese football player. He played as a goalkeeper.

Norihiro Yamagishi's Football Journey
Norihiro Yamagishi was born in Kumagaya, Japan, on May 17, 1978. He became a professional football player. He is known for his long career as a goalkeeper.
Early Career and Urawa Reds
After finishing university, Yamagishi joined Urawa Reds in 2001. This club was based in his home area, Saitama Prefecture. He started playing regularly in 2002. However, he sometimes had to compete for his spot with other goalkeepers.
During his time with Urawa Reds, the team won several important titles:
- They won the 2003 J.League Cup in 2003.
- In 2005, they won the Emperor's Cup.
- In 2006, Urawa Reds became champions of the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league. Yamagishi played a big part in this victory.
- They also won the 2006 Japanese Super Cup in 2006.
- In 2007, Urawa Reds won the 2007 AFC Champions League. This is a major tournament for clubs across Asia.
Yamagishi played for Urawa Reds until 2014. He played in 137 league games for them.
Moving to Montedio Yamagata
In June 2014, Yamagishi moved to Montedio Yamagata. This team played in the J2 League, which is the second division in Japan. He quickly became their main goalkeeper.
He made history in the 2014 J2 League playoffs. In a crucial match against Júbilo Iwata, Yamagishi scored a goal! This is very rare for a goalkeeper. He headed the ball into the net from a corner kick in the last minute. This goal helped Montedio Yamagata reach the final. They won the final and were promoted to the J1 League. Montedio Yamagata also finished second in the 2014 Emperor's Cup that year.
In 2015, Yamagishi played in all 34 league matches for Montedio Yamagata. However, the team finished last and went back down to the J2 League. He continued to play for them until the end of the 2016 season.
Final Years with Giravanz Kitakyushu
After three seasons with Montedio Yamagata, Yamagishi joined Giravanz Kitakyushu in 2017. This team had just been relegated to the 2017 J3 League, the third division. He played for two seasons there before retiring from professional football at the end of 2018.
