Normandy is a small town located in Bedford County, Tennessee. In 2020, about 108 people lived there. Just northeast of the town, you'll find the Normandy Dam. The town is also special because it's listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Normandy Historic District. A historic building called Beech Hall is also located close to Normandy.
History of Normandy
Normandy was started in 1852. It became a town because of the important Nashville & Chattanooga Railroad Line. This railroad, which later became the Nashville, Chattanooga, & St. Louis Railroad, helped the town grow by connecting it to other places.

The town is quite small in size. According to the United States Census Bureau, Normandy covers about 0.2 square miles (0.63 square kilometers) of land. The nearby Normandy Lake is a very popular spot for fishing in Bedford County.
