Northeast Tacoma is a cool neighborhood located in Tacoma, Washington. It's a special part of the city because it's a bit separated from the main downtown area. To the southeast is an area called Fife Heights, which isn't officially part of Tacoma. To the northwest, Northeast Tacoma ends where the Browns Point area begins. And to the northeast, it reaches the border of King County.

Because the Port of Tacoma separates it from the rest of the city, Northeast Tacoma feels very much like its own quiet community. It's a bit more peaceful and spread out than other parts of Tacoma.

After elementary school, all these students typically move on to Jerry Meeker Middle School, which is also located in Northeast Tacoma.
