Noxall is a small place in New Madrid County, Missouri. It's called an unincorporated community, which means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Instead, it's part of the larger county area.

Where is Noxall Located?

Noxall is found in the southeastern part of Missouri. You can find it along Missouri Route HH. It's about 3.5 miles north of a town called Kewanee. It's also about 11 miles south of a bigger city named Sikeston. Two major roads, U.S. Route 61 and U.S. Route 62, pass about a mile to the east of Noxall. A railway line, once part of the St. Louis–San Francisco Railway, also runs right next to the community.

What's the Story of Noxall?

Noxall had its own post office for a few years. It first opened in 1914. However, it closed down in 1922. The community got its unique name from a type of flour. Imagine a place named after something you might use to bake a cake!
