History of the Noyes House
This historic house was first built in 1797 by a man named John Safford. Later, in 1810, John sold the house to his son, Jedediah Safford. Jedediah made the house even bigger by adding a new section made of brick. This new part was built in a style called Federal style, which was popular back then. Jedediah also built a large barn on the property in the 1820s.
