History of Nuñomoral
Nuñomoral has a long history, but not many old buildings remain. One important historical building is the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción. It is built from strong stone.
In the hamlet of Asegur, you can still see some traditional houses. These homes have special roofs made from shale. Shale is a type of rock that can be split into thin layers.
Long ago, the village of Ladrillar, which is to the north, was part of the Nuñomoral area.
