How Nu-Venture Started
Nu-Venture began as a coach company in the 1960s. Coaches are like large buses often used for longer trips or tours. They used to offer coach holidays all over Europe.
In the 1980s, Nu-Venture also ran a special service. This service helped people travel from their homes to London for work. The coach holiday trips stopped in 2010. The London commuter service ended around 2004.
Buses Over Time
Nu-Venture used to have buses where you had to step up to get inside. These were called "step-entrance" buses. They had both double-decker and single-decker types.
In 2014, the company changed its buses. They started using "low-floor" buses. These buses are easier to get on and off because they are closer to the ground. This change made travel more accessible for everyone.
Today, Nu-Venture mainly runs local bus services. You can find their buses in towns like Maidstone, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, and the Medway Towns.
Bus Routes and Services
As of August 2018, Nu-Venture operated 42 different bus routes. These routes help people travel to various places within Kent.
Important Events
Sometimes, unexpected things happen with vehicles. Here are a couple of incidents involving Nu-Venture buses:

- Also in November 2012, a double-decker bus blew over into a ditch in Cliffe. The driver was trapped but was rescued safely. No passengers were on board at the time.
