Nules is a town in eastern Spain. It is located in the Province of Castellón, which is part of the Valencian Community. Nules is about 18 kilometers (11 miles) south of Castellón, the capital city of the province. The town is only 13 meters (43 feet) above sea level.
As of 2010, Nules had about 13,750 people living there. These people live in the main Nules Town, Nules Beach, and a small historic village called Mascarell.
Home of the Nules Clementine
Nules is famous for giving its name to a special kind of Clementine fruit. This particular type of clementine was first grown here in 1953. It has become the most popular type of clementine grown in Spain.
Mascarell Village
The municipality of Nules includes a very old and historic village called Mascarell. This village is known for its unique history and buildings.
