The Name of O Grove
The name Ogrobe has a long history. It was first written down in a Latin text from the year 899. This old text mentioned "St. Vincent of O Grove."
Over time, the name changed a bit. The "O" at the beginning of Ogrobe started to be seen as the Galician word for "the" (like "El" in Spanish). This is how it became known as O Grove today.
