Oakfield is a small village in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2020, about 1,052 people lived there. The village is part of the larger Town of Oakfield.

History of Oakfield
Oakfield got its name from a group of oak trees. These trees grew near where the village was first built. A post office opened in Oakfield way back in 1850.
A very strong tornado hit the village on July 18, 1996. It was an F5 tornado, which is the strongest kind. The tornado destroyed 47 homes. Even though it was very powerful, no one was killed. This was a big event in the village's history.
