Location and Features
Oceanville is found along U.S. Route 9. This road is about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north of Absecon. The community has its own post office. Its ZIP Code is 08231.
The Noyes Museum
For many years, Oceanville was home to the Noyes Museum. This museum showed fine art. It was the only art museum in Atlantic County. The museum operated from 1983 to 2016.
In 2016, the museum became part of Stockton University. The original Oceanville site will be sold.

Schools in Oceanville
Students in Oceanville attend schools in two different districts.
- The Galloway Township School District (GTPS) serves students from kindergarten to 8th grade.
- Students then go to Absegami High School. This high school is part of the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District.
Oceanville Kindergarten Learning Center used to be in the community. It was once called Oceanville School. The building opened around 1927. It closed as a school in 2010. Now, the building is used by GTPS for things like their food service department.
