Odd Future Records was a music company, also known as a record label, started in the United States. It was created in 2011 by the famous rapper and producer Tyler, the Creator. He was part of a music group called Odd Future. This record label was a part of a much bigger music company, Sony Music Entertainment. Odd Future Records helped release music from many artists.

History of Odd Future Records

Odd Future Records was started by Tyler, the Creator in 2011. His main goal was to release music from his own group, Odd Future. This made it easier for their songs and albums to reach fans.

However, not all members of the Odd Future group signed with this label. For example, Earl Sweatshirt and Frank Ocean, who were also part of Odd Future, released their music through other companies. In 2012, a hardcore punk band called Trash Talk joined Odd Future Records. This showed that the label was open to different kinds of music, not just hip-hop. The label stopped operating in 2016.
