Odell Lake is a small, shallow lake in Northern Arizona. It is located near the community of Munds Park. This lake is actually a reservoir, which means it's a man-made lake.
Odell Lake was created by a small earthen dam built on Munds Creek. It provides a home for many different birds. These include birds that migrate (travel seasonally) and those that stay all year. You might even spot a bald eagle here!
Most of the land around Odell Lake is private property. The Pinewood Country Club helps take care of the lake and its dam. The southeastern part of the lake's shore is managed by the Coconino National Forest.
