The Ogooué-Lolo Province is one of the nine provinces of Gabon. Gabon is a country in central Africa. This province is located slightly southeast of the center of Gabon. Its capital city is Koulamoutou. About 16,000 people live in Koulamoutou. This makes it the ninth largest city in Gabon. More than one-third of the province's people live in Koulamoutou.
The province covers an area of 25,380 square kilometers (about 9,800 square miles). In 2013, 65,771 people lived there.

Where is Ogooué-Lolo Province?
Ogooué-Lolo Province stretches from about 3 degrees South to 2 degrees North. It also goes from 10 degrees East to 11 degrees East.
To the south, Ogooué-Lolo shares a border with the Niari Region of the Republic of the Congo. Inside Gabon, it borders these other provinces:
- Ngounié to the west-southwest
- Moyen-Ogooué to the northwest, at a point where four borders meet
- Ogooué-Ivindo to the north and northwest
- Haut-Ogooué to the east

Ogooué-Lolo Province is divided into four main areas called departments. Each department has its own main town:
- Lolo-Bouenguidi Department, with its capital in Koulamoutou
- Lombo-Bouenguidi Department, with its capital in Pana
- Mouloundou Department, with its capital in Lastoursville
- Offoué-Onoye Department, with its capital in Iboundji
How has the population changed?
The number of people living in Ogooué-Lolo Province has changed over time.
- In 1980, there were 49,915 people.
- By 1993, the population had dropped to 43,915. This was a decrease of about 12%.
Even though the population went down, it was a slower decrease compared to some other provinces in Gabon.
