Ogooué-Maritime is a province in the country of Gabon, located on the western coast of Africa. It's the most western province of Gabon's nine provinces. The capital city of Ogooué-Maritime is Port-Gentil. In 2013, about 157,562 people lived here. The province covers an area of 22,890 square kilometers, which is about the size of a small country.

This province is special because it's right on the coast! Its shores meet the Gulf of Guinea in the northwest and the big South Atlantic Ocean in the southwest.
