Old Eastaboga is a small place in Talladega County, Alabama, United States. It is known as an "unincorporated community." This means it does not have its own local government like a city or town. Instead, it is managed as part of the larger county.
The name "Eastaboga" comes from the Muscogee language. It means "where the people reside." This community was originally just called Eastaboga. This was true until the early 1900s.
A nearby place called McFall was later renamed Eastaboga. This new Eastaboga was located along the railroad. It was partly in Talladega County and partly in Calhoun County. To avoid confusion, the original Eastaboga then became known as Old Eastaboga.
