Olesa de Bonesvalls is a small village and a local government area (called a municipality) in Catalonia, Spain. It is part of the Alt Penedès region, known as a comarca. Before 1990, it was part of a different region called Garraf.

This village is located inside the beautiful Garraf natural park. The park is home to Montau, which is the highest mountain in the area, standing at 653 meters (about 2,140 feet) tall. The land here is very rocky and has many caves. One famous cave is "Avenc de l'Esquerrà," which goes down 348 meters (about 1,140 feet). It is one of the deepest caves in Spain!

A very old and important building in Olesa de Bonesvalls is the Hospital de Cervelló. It was built in 1262 as a fortified place for travelers to stay. It is still in good condition today.

The main ways people make a living here are through farming, especially growing grapes for vineyards and fruit in orchards. There are also some small local businesses. In 2014, about 1,735 people lived in Olesa de Bonesvalls. A road connecting the towns of Avinyonet del Penedès and Gavà passes through the municipality.

In 1262, a special building was opened in Olesa de Bonesvalls. It was a two-story hospital or hostel. This building was designed like old hospitals found in Italy, such as those in Fossanova and Viterbo.

Olesa's hospital was one of the oldest of its kind in Spain. Other very old hospitals were found in places like Coll de Balaguer and Vich. These places were important stops for travelers long ago.
