Olesa de Montserrat is a town in Catalonia, Spain. It's located in an area called Baix Llobregat. A "municipality" is like a local government area, and a "comarca" is a region in Catalonia.
Olesa de Montserrat is famous for a few things. People know it for its delicious olive oil and its history of making textiles. But most of all, it's known for its amazing Passion play. This play, called La Passió d'Olesa, tells a story from the past. It was first written about in 1538. In 1996, the play even set a world record! A total of 726 people performed on stage at the same time.
