Omair Tahir Rana, born on January 31, 1978, is a talented Pakistani actor and theatre director. He is known for his work in plays, TV shows, and films. Omair also directs plays for schools, like One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and Life of Galileo. He runs his own theatre company called Real Entertainment Productions (REP), which he started in 2000. This company has put on more than 50 plays!
Early Life and Acting Career
Omair Rana spent his early years and went to school in Al Ain, UAE. His time there, especially at the Al Ain English-speaking school, helped him discover his love for theatre.
He has made a big impact as a theatre actor and teacher. He even helped introduce IGCSE Drama to Pakistan in 2009. This means he helped bring a special drama course to schools there. Besides theatre, Omair has acted in many TV shows and movies, including Chambaili and Tamanna.
Omair started acting on TV in 2014. He quickly became well-known for his roles in popular dramas like Maan, Sang-e-Mar Mar, and O Rangreza. In 2018, he starred in the much-awaited Hum TV drama Aangan. On July 30, 2019, Omair Rana was chosen as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Children's Literature Festival (CLF).
