Omar El Kaddouri (born August 21, 1990) is a professional footballer. He plays as a midfielder or a winger. Omar was born in Belgium, but he played for the Morocco national team in international games.

Club Career Highlights
Starting Out in Football
Omar El Kaddouri started his football journey in Belgium at a club called K. Diegem Sport. Later, he joined Anderlecht after their youth scouts noticed his talent. In 2008, an Italian club, Brescia, signed him after seeing him play in a youth tournament.
He spent two seasons with Brescia's youth team. He even played his first senior game for Brescia when he was just 18 years old, in March 2009. To get more playing time, he was loaned to Südtirol. There, he played 32 games, scored two goals, and helped set up 10 more.
Playing for Brescia
In the 2011–12 season, El Kaddouri returned to Brescia. He became a key player in the team's midfield. He scored his first goal of that season in October 2011. By the end of the season, he had played 38 games and scored 7 goals, showing he was a strong player.
Time at Napoli
On August 24, 2012, Omar El Kaddouri joined Napoli, a big club in Italy. He played his first game for Napoli in a Europa League match in September. His first game in Italy's top league, Serie A, was in December. He played 14 games in total for Napoli that season.
Loan to Torino

In July 2013, El Kaddouri was loaned to Torino. He made his debut for Torino in a cup game in August. He scored his first two goals for Torino in November 2013, helping his team win 4–1. He also scored a goal and gave two assists in another win in February 2014.
During the 2013–14 league season, he played 29 games and scored 5 goals for Torino. After this, he returned to Napoli. He was then loaned back to Torino for another season. In February 2015, he scored his first goal of that season for Torino. After this second loan, he went back to Napoli in June 2015.
In January 2017, El Kaddouri moved to Empoli and signed a contract until June 2021.
Success with PAOK
On August 24, 2017, Omar El Kaddouri signed a four-year contract with PAOK, a club in Greece. He scored his first goal for PAOK in April 2018. In his first year with PAOK, he helped the team win the Greek Cup. They won the final game 2–0.
In the next season (2018–19), he played an even bigger role for PAOK. Despite rumors of a move to another club, he stayed. That season, he celebrated winning both the league championship and the Greek Cup, completing a "double" for PAOK.
In the 2019–20 season, he was a regular starter. The 2020–21 season was his most successful with PAOK. He played 39 games, scored 3 goals, and made 6 assists. He also helped PAOK win the Greek Cup again, even though he didn't play in the final game. This was his fourth title with PAOK.
In June 2021, El Kaddouri extended his contract with PAOK for two more years. He faced a muscle injury at the start of the 2021–22 season, which kept him out of several games. He returned to play in April 2022 and even scored a goal against Marseille.
Recent Club Moves
On January 5, 2024, CFR Cluj, a club in Romania, announced that they had signed Omar El Kaddouri. He played for them for nine months.
After leaving CFR Cluj, he signed with the Italian club SPAL for one season. He joined SPAL in 2024.
International Career
Omar El Kaddouri first played for the Belgium Under-21 team. He scored his first goal for them in November 2011. In July 2012, he played in the Olympic Games in London for Morocco, appearing in two games.
He then joined the Moroccan national team. He played his first game for Morocco in August 2013. He scored his first goal for Morocco in May 2014 in a friendly match where Morocco won 4–0.
