One Hundred is a tall apartment building in St. Louis, Missouri. It stands in the Central West End neighborhood. This amazing building was designed by a famous group called Studio Gang Architects. It finished being built in the spring of 2020.
Building Design
The One Hundred building has 36 floors. Inside, there are 316 apartment homes. It also has 355 parking spots for cars. On the ground floor, there is a space for shops.
Unique Windows
The building has special windows that are angled. These "splayed" windows help bring lots of natural light into the apartments. They also make the outside of the building look very modern. The lead architect, Jeanne Gang, wanted to create many corner apartments. This design helps every apartment get great views.
Inside the Apartments
The apartments have cool features like LED lights. They also have huge windows that go from the floor to the ceiling. When people first saw the designs in 2016, some thought the building would look like "stacked cups" or a "magazine rack."
Cool Amenities
Many fun things to do are on the seventh floor. This floor is called the 'amenity floor.' It has an outdoor swimming pool. There is also a game room for residents to enjoy. You can find fitness equipment for working out. A conference room is also available for meetings or studying.
