One Montgomery Tower is a tall office building, also known as Montgomery Tower. It used to be called Pacific Telesis Tower. This building is part of a larger area called the Post Montgomery Center complex. You can find this skyscraper at 120 Kearny Street in the financial district of San Francisco, California.
The tower is about 500 feet (152 meters) tall and has 38 floors. It was finished in 1982. Around 2,500 people work in its offices. The building is connected to the Crocker Galleria mall.
Even though it's called "One Montgomery," the main entrance is actually on 120 Kearny Street. The outside of the building is made of red granite and square glass windows. These windows have aluminum frames. The first two floors look a bit different, with black granite and steel.
When One Montgomery Tower and Crocker Galleria were built in 1982, they changed the nearby Crocker Bank building. The top ten floors of that building were removed. Its new roof was turned into a special public space. This kind of space is called a privately-owned public open space (POPOS). It means it's owned by a private company but is open for everyone to use.
