About Ono Academic College
Ono Academic College started in 1995. It was founded by Ranan Hartman. His goal was to make higher education available to everyone in Israel. This included groups who might not have had easy access before.
The college first worked with the University of Manchester. Later, it became a fully Israeli school. It is now approved by the Council for Higher Education in Israel.
The college began in a small building with 100 students. They studied law and business. Today, it has grown a lot. There are now 18,000 students across five campuses. These campuses are in Kiryat Ono, Jerusalem, Haifa, Netanya, and Or Yehuda. The school offers 47 different study programs.
