Orgoroso is a small, friendly village located in the western part of Uruguay. It's found in the Paysandú Department, which is like a state or province in other countries. This quiet village is home to a few hundred people and offers a glimpse into life in rural Uruguay.

Where is Orgoroso Located?

Orgoroso is situated along a main road called Ruta 90. It's about 53 kilometers (around 33 miles) east of Paysandú, which is the capital city of the department. If you travel west from Orgoroso, you'll find the town of Guichón about 32 kilometers (20 miles) away. A railroad track also runs along the southern edge of the village. This track connects Paysandú with another town called Paso de los Toros.
