A Bit of History
The very first Starbucks cafe opened in 1971 at a different address: 2000 Western Avenue. It stayed there for about five years. Then, in 1976, the cafe moved to its current home at 1912 Pike Place. So, while it's not the exact first building, it's the original store that moved!
