Orton Island is a small island located off the coast of Queensland, Australia. It is part of the amazing Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. This island is found in Temple Bay, which is about 200 kilometers (124 miles) northeast of Kutini-Payamu (Iron Range) National Park and the town of Lockhart River, Queensland.

Orton Island is located in Northern Australia. It sits about 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) southeast of a place called Cape Grenville. This area is part of the larger Cape York Peninsula.
