Kimball is a small town in Iron County, Wisconsin, located in the state of Wisconsin, United States. In the year 2000, about 540 people lived there. Two smaller communities, also called Kimball and Orva, are part of this town.
History of Kimball
Kimball got its name from a person named Alanson M. Kimball. He was a Congressman, which means he helped make laws for the country. The first post office in Kimball opened in June 1889. Its first postmaster, who was in charge of the mail, was Charles R. Clark.
