Oryx Club de Douala is a famous football club from Douala, Cameroon. They were super successful in the 1960s! They won the very first African Cup of Champions Clubs in 1964. This was a huge win, making them the first club from Cameroon to ever win this big African title!
Oryx Douala also won five national league titles and the Cameroon Cup three times. Most of these amazing wins happened in the 1960s. Oryx Douala started way back in April 1927. Their team colors are black and yellow stripes. With five league titles, they are one of the most successful clubs in Cameroon's top league, Elite One. They play their home games at the Stade de la Réunification, a stadium that can hold 30,000 fans. Currently, they play in a lower league.

Winning the African Cup of Champions Clubs in 1965
Oryx Douala earned their spot in the first-ever African Cup of Champions Clubs because they had won their national league the year before. They were placed in a group called "Central Africa" and played really well, finishing at the top of their group.
After winning their group, they moved on to the semi-finals. There, they played against Real Republicans from Ghana. Oryx Douala won that match 2–1, which sent them to the final!
The final match was played in front of 30,000 excited fans at Accra Stadium. Oryx Douala won again with a score of 2–1, making them the champions of Africa! It was an incredible moment for the club and for Cameroon. Even though they haven't won it again, they came close two years later by reaching the semi-finals.
