Osmond is found in a beautiful area called Star Valley. It is located in western Wyoming. The community sits along Wyoming Highway 241. It is about 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) south of a town called Afton.
Other roads also help define Osmond's location. Highway 236 forms the northern edge of the community. U.S. Route 89 runs along its eastern side. Osmond is also about 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) east of the community of Fairview.
