Oulu (pronounced OO-loo) is a small town in Bayfield County, Wisconsin, in the United States. It is named after the city of Oulu in Finland.
In 2020, about 560 people lived in Oulu. This was a small increase from 527 people in 2010.

History of Oulu
People from Finland started moving to the Oulu area around 1889. These Finnish immigrants helped build the community.
Other groups, like German and Norwegian settlers, also came to Oulu. However, about 75% of the people living there were originally from Finland.

Oulu is located in Wisconsin. The town covers an area of about 91.8 square kilometers (or 35.4 square miles). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water inside the town limits.
