Understanding Hate Groups

Frazier Glenn Miller Jr. had a history of being part of hate groups. He was a former member of the Ku Klux Klan, often called the KKK. The KKK is a group that believes in white supremacy, meaning they think white people are better than others. They have a long history of violence and discrimination against Black people and other minority groups.

Miller was also a neo-Nazi. Neo-Nazis are people who follow the ideas of the Nazi party from World War II, which was led by Adolf Hitler. These ideas include extreme racism, especially against Jewish people, and a belief in white supremacy. Both the KKK and neo-Nazis are considered hate groups because they promote hatred and violence against certain groups of people. Miller had also tried to run for political office in the past.
