About Pachara Chirathivat
Early Life and School
Pachara Chirathivat was born in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 10, 1993. His parents are Thirayuth and Chanadda Chirathivat. They are part of the Chirathivat family, who started a big company called Central Group. Peach has two siblings, Khemmanat and Pimpisa.
He went to Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School. Later, he studied Business Administration at Chulalongkorn University and finished in 2015. He also spent some time studying in England.
Becoming an Actor
Pachara started his acting career in 2011 with a comedy movie about music called SuckSeed. This movie was directed by Chayanop Boonprakob, and it was a big hit. It was popular with audiences and critics. The movie even won an award at the 4th Okinawa International Movie Festival.
Because SuckSeed was so successful, Peach was chosen for another movie in the same year. This was a true story film called The Billionaire. In this movie, he played a young business person named Itthipat Kulapongvanich. At first, it was hard for him to act alone in many scenes. For example, he had to carry heavy bags of nuts, which he found very tough. But with help from the director, he overcame the challenges and was proud of his work in the film.
The next year, he acted in a thriller movie called Countdown. He played a character named Jack. Peach worked hard to become like Jack, changing how he talked, dressed, and walked. He even learned martial arts to stay safe during action scenes. This movie was chosen to represent Thailand at the 86th Academy Awards.
After working with director Songyos Sugmakanan on The Billionaire, Peach was cast in the TV series Hormones. This show was different from typical Thai TV shows. It explored many parts of teenage life, including topics that are usually not talked about openly in Thailand. Peach's character, Win, was based on his own experiences and research about teenagers. Win was the most popular boy at school but later got involved in nightlife. Peach felt lucky to be part of the series. He said he learned a lot from the characters' lives. Hormones was so popular that it had three seasons. Peach was a main actor in the first two seasons and a guest star in the last one.
In 2015, Pachara joined Channel 3. He wanted to gain more experience and grow as an actor. Later, he became a mentor on the first season of The Face Men Thailand. In 2024, you can see him in the Thai crime drama The Believers on Netflix.
His Music Journey
Besides acting, Pachara also loves making music, especially electronic and rock music. After his movie SuckSeed, he started his own rock band called Rooftop. They are signed with an indie music company called Smallroom. He even worked with K-pop star Nichkhun for a brand once.
In 2015, he started a new rock band called White Rose with musician Pakorn "Beam" Musikaboonlert. The band's name was inspired by a group of students who peacefully resisted during Nazi Germany. Their song "Dear You" was produced by a French indie band called Tahiti 80.
Pachara writes most of the words for his songs. He feels most comfortable singing his own lyrics. He also plays the keyboards and guitar.
Helping Others
In 2014, Pachara helped a 12-year-old boy named Mon. Mon had brain cancer and wished to meet Peach. Pachara got a call from the Make-A-Wish Foundation about Mon's wish. Mon admired Peach after watching SuckSeed. Pachara continued to support Mon. He said that when we have a good life, we should share our happiness. He tries his best every day because we never know what might happen. Every year on his birthday, he also donates medical equipment to Chulalongkorn Hospital for patients.
Pachara's Personal Life
When he was 20, Pachara became a Buddhist monk for three weeks. This is a common tradition in Thailand.
In 2015, he asked to delay his military service because he was still studying. The next year, he asked again because of his acting work. He knows that military service in Thailand is important and is fine with serving his country when the time comes.
After finishing university, Pachara left his family's retail business. Instead, he started running a local branch of a Philippine fast-food chain called Potato Corner.
