Pacific La Amistad Conservation Area

The Pacific La Amistad Conservation Area (also known as ACLA-P) is a very important natural region in southern Costa Rica. It is managed by a group called SINAC, which stands for the National System of Conservation Areas. Their main job is to protect the amazing plants and animals found here.

This special area is located on the Pacific side of the mountains that run through Costa Rica. It includes several National Parks, many Wildlife refuges, and other kinds of nature reserves. These places help keep nature safe for everyone to enjoy.
