Francisco 'Paco' José Camarasa Castellar (born September 27, 1967) is a Spanish former footballer. He played mainly as a central defender. Paco Camarasa was born in Rafelbunyol, a town in Spain. He played for 13 professional seasons only with his local club, Valencia CF.
Starting His Professional Career
Paco made his first team debut during the 1987–88 La Liga season. This was when Valencia had just returned to the top league, La Liga, after being in a lower division. He played one game that season.
Becoming a Key Player
Over time, Paco became a very important player for Valencia. He played in 333 official games for the club. This shows how much the team relied on him.
Later Years and Retirement

He came on as a substitute for Pep Guardiola. He also played the entire game in the "round-of-16" match against Switzerland, which Spain won 3–0.
