Paco Roncero (born December 3, 1969) is a famous Spanish chef. He is known for his amazing cooking skills. In 2006, he won a big award called the National Gastronomy Award. He was also a judge on the TV show MasterChef Colombia. Today, he is the main chef at a very special restaurant called Sublimotion. It's known for being super expensive but offering a truly unique dining experience!

Paco Roncero's Journey to Becoming a Chef

Paco Roncero started his cooking journey because he loved it. He studied at the School of Hospitality and Tourism in Madrid, Spain. After his training, he worked at famous restaurants like Zalacaín and the Hotel Ritz.

In 1991, he joined the team at the Casino de Madrid. There, he worked with another famous chef, Ferran Adrià. By 1996, Paco became the head chef for banquets at the Casino. In 2000, he became the main head chef. One of his jobs was running a restaurant called La Terraza del Casino. This restaurant earned its first Michelin star in 2002. A Michelin star is a very special award for excellent restaurants.

Paco Roncero has won many important cooking awards. One of them was the Chef L'Avenir Award in 2005. This award means "Chef of the Future" and was given by the International Academy of Gastronomy.

Paco has also written several books about cooking. He has taught many workshops on food research. He also works as a teacher in different cooking schools. Since 2013, he has been part of a special group of Spanish chefs. This group helps prepare for big cooking competitions around the world.
