Paddles (born 2016 – died 7 November 2017) was a famous ginger and white cat. She was owned by Jacinda Ardern, who was the Prime Minister of New Zealand, and her partner Clarke Gayford. Paddles was special because she was a polydactyl cat. This means she had extra toes on her paws, making her look like she had thumbs!

Paddles was a rescue cat. Jacinda Ardern adopted her from the SPCA, which helps animals in need.
